So this page talks specification, not styling: load ratings engineered per vehicle above the passenger range and engraved into the metal, true beadlock or beadlock-style fixed on a drawing you approve, machined from forged 6061-T6, inspected twice. True beadlock vs beadlock-style: the difference nobody prints

A beadlock exists because off-road driving means airing tires down for traction — and at very low pressures, a conventionally seated bead can slip or pop off the rim. A true beadlock solves that mechanically: a bolted outer ring clamps the tire bead to the rim, so the seat holds regardless of pressure. A beadlock-style wheel carries a bolted trim ring that gives the same look, while the bead seats conventionally. From ten paces they're twins; mechanically they're different wheels:

The road-use honesty: true beadlocks are built for off-road duty, and the rules on running them on public roads vary by country and region — check your local regulations before speccing them for a street-driven truck. The beadlock-style ring exists precisely for that case: the look, zero compliance questions. We'll ask which world your wheels live in before the drawing is made.

What does "off-road spec" actually mean here?

Three concrete things, all of them on paper before we cut:

Load rating above the passenger range

Our passenger and performance wheels run roughly 690–955 kg; off-road builds are engineered higher, per vehicle — a loaded overland truck is not a track car. The rating is stated on your drawing and engraved into the barrel. We don't publish one universal off-road number, because the honest number depends on your build.

Diameter chosen for sidewall

Off-road builds generally favour smaller diameters — a smaller wheel leaves a taller sidewall, and sidewall is suspension, bead protection and air-down range in rough terrain. The envelope runs 15–26" × 5–16"; the fitment guide covers measuring what your hubs need.

A finish that shrugs

Powder coat is the abuse-tolerant default for off-road duty — thickest practical protection at standard lead time. Matte and satin textures hide trail scars better than gloss. The full layer logic is on finishes; the mirror-polished lip belongs on the show truck, not the rock trail.

One construction note: off-road wheels here are typically monoblock — one continuous piece of forged 6061-T6, nothing to work loose under impact after impact. Every wheel passes the same system as the street range: inspected twice, 100% runout under 0.01", serial + QC record — the whole chain is on quality control. What is a beadlock wheel?

A wheel that mechanically clamps the tire bead to the rim with a bolted outer ring, instead of relying on air pressure alone. That matters off-road, where airing down for traction can let a conventionally seated bead slip or unseat — the beadlock holds it regardless of pressure.

True beadlock vs beadlock-style — what's the difference?

True beadlock: the ring bolts through and clamps the bead — functional retention for low-pressure use. Beadlock-style: a bolted trim ring with the same look, conventional seating underneath. We build both, and which one you get is specified on the drawing you approve — not discovered in the box.

Are beadlock wheels road legal?

It depends on your jurisdiction — true beadlocks are built for off-road use, and street rules vary by country and region, so check your local regulations first. The beadlock-style ring exists exactly for the street case: the look, zero compliance questions.

What load ratings do off-road wheels carry?

Higher than our 690–955 kg passenger/performance range — engineered per vehicle, stated on the drawing, engraved into the barrel with the serial, size, ET and CB. No universal number published, because the honest number depends on your build.

What sizes work best off-road?

Generally smaller diameters than street builds — more sidewall means more suspension, bead protection and air-down range. The envelope is 15–26" × 5–16", ET engineered per vehicle, CB machined to your hubs. Mixed sizes in one 4 pcs order accepted.

How long does an order take?

Samples 10–15 working days; production 20–30 after drawing approval. Powder coat — the off-road default — runs standard lead; brushed, polished and two-tone +5; PVD chrome +15. Every wheel ships inspected twice, runout tested, serial-engraved, worldwide on EXW, FOB or CIF.
